Wests Tigers have confirmed their NRL team to take on Cronulla Sharks at Remondis Stadium this Saturday evening for their Round 10 clash.

The visitors have been boosted by the return of Australian representative Robbie Farah and experienced playmaker Braith Anasta, while Tim Simona also returns to the starting team having served a two-game suspension.

NRL Head Coach Mick Potter said that the return of Farah and Anasta was a big boost for the Club as they prepare for a tough match against the Sharks.

“Robbie Farah coming back in is key for us to move forward,” said Potter.

“Joel Luani’s done a great job and [he’s] probably got that versatility to play a couple of different positions but Robbie’s a class player.

“There’s no doubt that he’ll help our team.

“Having both of those two [Anasta and Farah] back — they’re pivotal to the direction of your team and to the enthusiasm. The seniority that they add, their experience in situations is invaluable and you need that,” he said.

“This week to last week: you can’t measure it, but certainly, the team is going to be a lot more comfortable and probably have a bit more direction than they did last week.

"[And] what comes with that is more energy [in attack].”

Potter reflected that while he was disappointed with the scoreline from Friday’s match against the defending premiers, he was still pleased with the opportunities that were created and the benefit that such a match will have been for some of the Club’s youngsters.

Tim Simona will also return in Wests Tigers' back-line this week, and will re-ignite his strong combination with David Nofoaluma on the left edge.

“Keith Lulia had a solid game [against the Roosters],” said Potter, “but I think Tim’s just going to add a bit more spark for us out wide.”

Kick-off for Saturday’s match is scheduled for 5:35pm AEST.
