Head Coach Mick Potter has revealed one key inclusion exclusively to Wests Tigers Members ahead of the full team announcement to face Melbourne later this afternoon.

Keith Galloway will be named to play his 150th NRL match for the Wests Tigers, despite being under an injury cloud after sustaining a shoulder injury in the loss to St George Illawarra on Sunday.

Potter said he was hopeful of having the towering prop forward on board for this Monday night’s vital clash against the Storm at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

“Keith copped a knock on the shoulder on the weekend,” Potter said. “Unfortunately he wasn’t able to return to the field.”

“It’s progressing well, given that we have a long turn-around and that he always treats his injuries diligently, he is a chance of playing.”

Potter has been impressed with Galloway’s consistency this season.

“To reach that 150-game milestone in the front-row is a great feat,” Potter said. “He has been one of those players who just keeps doing the same thing every week and he is hard to stop.”

“Everyone knows what he does – he makes good metres for the Club and is solid defensively.”
