Gareth Ellis has been named at second rower in Wests Tigers’ Team of 15 Years.

Ellis joined Wests Tigers at the start of 2009 following a successful final season with the Leeds Rhinos in 2008 (where he won the Super League Grand Final), and made his debut for the Club in Round 1 against the Canberra Raiders.

He played 22 games for the Club in his debut season and would go on to feature prominent in the Club’s squad for the following three years as well, before an injury-interrupted 2012 saw him return back to English Super League for 2013.

The England international forward was named the Club’s Player of the Year for three consecutive seasons between 2009 and 2011.

In total, he played 75 games for Wests Tigers and scored 10 tries.
