Keith Galloway will become just the ninth player to play 150 NRL matches for the Wests Tigers when lines up against Melbourne tonight at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

The former Cronulla Shark joins Robbie Farah, Benji Marshall, Chris Heighington, John Skandalis, Liam Fulton, Bryce Gibbs, Todd Payten and Ben Galea to reach the milestone for Wests Tigers.

"It feels like I’ve been here for a while and it's definitely something I’m proud of," Galloway said. "To play 150 NRL games at this great club is something that I’ll look back at when I retire and be really proud of."

Galloway made his NRL debut for Cronulla in 2003 as a 17-year-old, going on to play 37 games for the Club over three seasons.

Joining the Wests Tigers in 2006, Galloway enjoyed a solid start, before earning his first Representative jumper for City Origin in 2009.

A purple-patch of form earned the Yarrawarrah Tigers junior a NSW Origin debut in 2011, followed by selection in the Australian squad for the Four Nations tournament later that year.

"Playing for Australia and NSW was a real honour and a special moment for me," Galloway said. "I think we had a team back then that could have probably won the premiership but unfortunatley it didn’t work out that way."

"Winning a premiership is obviously my goal and with the young guys we have at the Club it's sure to be an exciting few years ahead."

A toe injury and pectoral tear interrupted Galloway’s 2012 and 2013 campaigns respectively, however this season has been a different case with the giant prop missing just the one game all year.

With the Wests Tigers still in finals contention, expect Galloway to lead the charge amongst a promising forward pack that boasts up and coming props Martin Taupau and Ava Seumanufagai, as well as New South Wales star Aaron Woods.
