Wests Tigers’ NYC side will look to keep their top four hopes alive when they take on the Sydney Roosters this Saturday afternoon at Leichhardt Oval.
The hosts suffered a tough 30-16 defeat to the North Queensland Cowboys in their Round 22 clash at Townsville last week, and will be keen to make amends for that this weekend against the Roosters. Andrew Webster’s side hung on for a dramatic 22-18 win over the Roosters when they met in Round 9 — an incredible win given injuries suffered on the day — and they’ll no doubt be looking to repeat the process this weekend.
Both teams are in the hunt for the top four, and with just a handful of games remaining, the two points on offer this Saturday could be the difference between a second bite at the cherry and missing out all together — making this a very intriguing clash indeed.
