Wests Tigers players Tim Simona, James Gavet, Sauaso Sue and Ava Seumanufagai have been named in the Samoan train-on squad for the upcoming Four Nations tournament.

Simona has not played for Wests Tigers since sustaining a leg injury in the Club's Round 22 loss to the North Queensland Cowboys, but is available for selection following a strong recovery. Both Sue and Seumanufagai played in the Club's recent 26-10 NRL victory over the Cronulla Sharks in Round 26, while James Gavet played in the Club's NSW Cup elimination final defeat to Wyong Roos on Sunday afternoon.

Of the four players, only Sue has international experience, with the forward playing four games for Samoa at the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.

The quartet will be joined by noted NRL players such as Kyle Stanley, BJ Leilua, Leeson Ah Mau and Sam Tagataese plus up-and-coming players such as Kaysa Pritchard, Pauli Pauli, Sione Mata'utia and Chanel Mata'utai, and will be coached by Matt Parish.

Each week, players will be added to the train-on squad after NRL teams are eliminated from the finals. A final 24-man squad will then be announced on October 6.

Toa Samoa plays England on October 25 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.

Earlier, Wests Tigers' representative stars Aaron Woods and Robbie Farah were both named in the Australian Kangaroos train-on squad. Click here to see that team in full.
