After a thrilling win in Round 1, Wests Tigers were much more composed and grounded this week against the Dragons, but still walked away with the same result, and ensured the Club started the year with back-to-back wins for the first time since 2008.

A blistering 20-minute spell that saw James Tedesco, Pat Richards and Kevin Naiqama all cross for tries set up the 22-4 win for Wests Tigers and ensure that Wests Tigers picked up their first win over the Dragons at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

Earlier on the day, Brett Kimmorley’s NYC side picked up their first win of the year with a comprehensive 50-26 win over the Dragons at Campbelltown as well.

Paul Fletcher’s NSW Cup side ensured it remained a perfect weekend for Wests Tigers too, with a 31-18 win over Wentworthville Magpies at Leichhardt Oval on Saturday.
