The Brydens Lawyers Wests Tigers Academy concluded their 2015 season on Tuesday night with a strong performance against the St George Illawarra Academy side.

The side, made up players aged either 16 or 17 that have played Junior Representatives this year for either Balmain or Western Suburbs, recorded a 20-8 victory over the Dragons at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

This followed on from a hard-fought 16-8 victory over the Cronulla Sharks’ Academy and a first up loss to Parramatta 32-28 over the previous four to five weeks.

Over half of this year’s squad are a year younger than the Under 17s age group, meaning that they will look to back-up again next year and further develop their skills

Some of the older players will make the progression through to the Wests Tigers’ Under 19s development games in 2016.

The last training session for the Brydens Lawyers Wests Tigers Academy will be run on Monday night at Concord Oval, where player awards for the season will be handed out by the coaching staff.
