The Brydens Lawyers Wests Tigers Academy finished off another successful season during the week, with a training session and presentation night at Concord Oval.

The Academy is a junior development academy designed to develop talent in the Club's junior representative clubs, Balmain and Western Suburbs, and is for players aged either 16 or 17 that have played Harold Matthews or SG Ball football that season. Over half of this year’s squad are a year younger than the U/17 age group, meaning that they will look to back-up again next year and further develop their skills, while some of the older players will make the progression to Wests Tigers U/19 Development games in 2016.

Brydens Lawyers Academy produced a number of strong results throughout the year, narrowly going down to Parramatta before beating National Champions Cronulla and doubling up with an impressive victory over the St. George-Illawarra Dragons HPU side.

Western Suburbs junior James Tautaiolefua was awarded the Player of the Season, while Balmain Tigers junior Abdalla Matar was named the Most Improved Player of the Year.
