Wests Tigers forward Tim Grant has been ruled out of this week's clash against the South Sydney Rabbitohs after he failed to pass a fitness test on Wednesday.

Wests Tigers NRL Head Coach Jason Taylor confirmed the injury news this morning, with no replacement for the former Origin representative confirmed as yet.

"Tim took a knee injury into last week's game," Taylor said.

"By the time he came out of last week's game, it was knee and ankle so he's not going to play. We'll work out after this morning's training session who will replace him."

The Club is hopeful that both Dene Halatau (hand) and Kevin Naiqama (concussion) will be right to go for tomorrow night's game, with final teams confirmed at 6:50pm Thursday.
