Wests Tigers fullback James Tedesco has been to make his State of Origin debut for the New South Wales Blues team in Game II of the 2016 State of Origin series.

NSW Blues Coach Laurie Daley has named Tedesco for Game II on June 22 alongside Wests Tigers teammates, and State of Origin regulars, Aaron Woods and Robbie Farah.

Daley has also included a number of players that make their debuts in Game I, with PLAYERS X, X, X all retained in the squad.

Named as Wests Tigers Player of the Year in 2015 following a career-best season, Tedesco has continued his strong form so far in 2016 with the Camden Rams junior chalking up 10 tries, eight linebreaks, nine try-assists and 10 linebreak assists in his 11 games so far.

Tedesco has played 63 NRL games since making his first-grade debut in 2013, and made his representative debut for City Origin in 2013, before again featuring in 2015. He also made his international debut for Italy at the 2013 Rugby World Cup, playing three games.

Since making his State of Origin debut in 2013, Woods has made nine appearances for the Blues so far in his career, while Farah has made 14 appearances since his debut in 2009.
