Wests Tigers five-eighth Mitchell Moses will play his 50th NRL game this Saturday, July 9 against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium.
Two years and three days after making his first-grade debut against the Penrith Panthers at Leichhardt Oval, the 21-year-old Moses will chalk up the milestone in remarkable time, with the playmaker missing just one match since that date (Round 9 earlier this year).
Having annonuced his decision to remain Wests Tigers in 2017, the junior representative half has shown his exciting talent with a number of superb displays already this season — chalking up four tries, eight try-assists, seven linebreaks and six linebreak assists so far.
The local junior also recorded his first career field goal in Round 12 this year, capping off a stunning 19-18 victory over 2015 Grand Finalists Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.
Moses becomes the third Wests Tigers player to reach the 50-game milestone in 2016, with fellow half Luke Brooks and David Nofoaluma also reaching the mark this year.
Wests Tigers would like to congratulate Mitchell on reaching the milestone this weekend!
Sunday afternoon footy returns to Leichhardt Oval when we take on the Cowboys!
