Wests Tigers five-eighth Mitchell Moses says the team knows how important Saturday's game against the Gold Coast Titans at Campbelltown Sports Stadium is for their finals chances, but says the team aren't getting caught up in the hype of it all.

Sitting level on points with the seventh-placed Panthers and eighth-placed Warriors heading into Saturday's game against the tenth-placed Titans, Moses said the team are simply looking to back last week's effort against the North Queensland Cowboys with another strong game.

And according to the five-eighth, if the team does that, the result will take care of itself.

"It's a massive game for us," Moses said. "We know that.

"But all we can do is take it one game at a time. We need to try and cement our spot in the eight, so we really need a win this week, so it should be a good afternoon.

"I think last weekend at Leichhardt we saw how helpful it was to have a massive crowd behind us, so hopefully we can do the same here and the fans can get us home."
