A special fundraising event is being held for long-time Wests Tigers, Western Suburbs and NSWRL figure Steve 'Bear' Hall.
Steve is currently battling illness and needs the support of the Rugby League community.
Bear is originally from Dubbo where he worked for NSWRL until 2000. After that he joined Western Suburbs where he assisted Warren McDonnell for Wests Development while also carrying out duties for NSWRL.
Bear returned to NSWRL in 2005 but continued to assist Western Suburbs, and also was a part of Wests Tigers' game day operations from 2012 until 2016.
This special fundraising night is being held on Friday 26 August at Wests League Club, Leumeah.
