Wests Tigers forward Kyle Lovett spoke to the media on Wednesday ahead of the Club's Round 25 clash against the New Zealand Warriors at Mount Smart Stadium.

After a tough last-start defeat to the Penrith Panthers, Lovett said that it was frustrating to be relient now on other results for a chance to make the finals series, but enthused that the team were still focused on a possible top eight finish with two weeks remaining in the season.

"We didn't want it go get to this where it's in other teams hands," he said.

"But if we just worry about ourselves and look forward to getting a good win this weekend, we can maybe set ourselves last week to still be in the hunt next week against Canberra."
