Wests Tigers new Assistant Coach Paul Stringer says he's excited to build off a successful Intrust Super Premiership season in his new role in 2017, having coached the Club's reserve-grade side to within one win of the Grand Final last season.

One of three Assistant Coaches working under Head Coach Jason Taylor in 2017, Stringer will be taking on a new role this season with a particular focus on the middle defence.

Stringer has spent the last two years involved with the Club in different roles — featuring as the Holden Cup Assistant Coach in 2015 and Intrust Super Premiership Coach in 2016.

See what Paul Stringer had to say about his new role with the Club in the video above!
