Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary gives the final word ahead of his side's Round 8 clash against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon.

After letting a 22-10 lead slip last week against the Parramatta Eels last week, Cleary spoke about the importance of Sunday's match and what his team would need to improve on.

"Everyone is ready to go tomorrow," he said.

"There's been a lot of distraction here recently if I'm being honest, and over the last two weeks, they've showed that they've been able to put aside the noise and perform on the field.

"We want to get rid of these distraction, but the job at hand is on the field tomorrow.

"We've got to move forward and that's what we're doing. This is all down to what is best for Wests Tigers and as of now, we're going to be active in the marketplace going forward.

"The history shows that there hasn't been sustained success here, but that's what we're going to try and change going forward. It's a big job ahead, but I've been there before."
