A cool head under pressure from Wests Tigers halfback Luke Brooks and centre Kevin Naiqama has been named as the Round 8 VB Hard Earned Effort of the Week.
With the match in the balance at 12-all, Brooks shaped for the decisive field goal attempt, before changing his mind at the last minute under pressure and running the ball down the left.
Showing great touch to kick in behind the line, the ball bounced fortuitously in to the arms Naiqama, who raced around to score under the posts and win the game for Wests Tigers!
