Wests Tigers centre Esan Marsters says he’s simply focused on improving his performances as he adjusts to playing regular first-grade in season 2017.

Having only debuted two months ago, Marsters delivered one of his finest performances of his young career with a dominant performance against the Titans’ left edge defence, and says he’s excited to see his football develop over the final few weeks of the year.

“I just want to keep building on my performance,” Marsters said.

“I really want to work on the little things in my game to really take that next step, and keep working on my combination with David Nofoaluma and see where it goes.

“I think the way we defended today really gave us confidence to get that win. And while we didn’t make those linebreaks that we wanted, we were really tight at the back and Nofoaluma was really good in his defence too, which gave us confidence in the game.

“We just want to build on that performance now next week against Penrith.”
