Wests Tigers Tarsha Gale side will look to secure their place in the 2018 Grand Final when they take on the Newcastle Knights this Saturday at St. Mary's Stadium.

It's been an incredible rise for the U/18 side in 2018 — finishing equal second in the regular season with just one defeat to their name — before knocking off Illawarra in their Semi Final to earn a week off.

They'll now take on the Knights (who they have already beaten in 2018) for a spot in the Grand Final.

Having not won a single game in the inaugural 2017 season, Wests Tigers have been one of the genuine surprise stories of the Tarsha Gale competition this year with a number of standout performances.

Emily Curtain currently sits as the competition's second highest points scorer with 153 points, while her and Shaylee Bent also sit inside the top 10 for tries scored throughout the regular season.

With the club's NRL, Intrust Super Premiership and Jersey Flegg sides not in action until Sunday, make sure you head out to St. Mary's Stadium on Saturday afternoon as the girls look to secure Wests Tigers' first appearance in a Grand Final in any grade since taking out the U/20's Premiership in 2012.
