Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary will welcome back several big guns for Thursday's Round 10 clash against the North Queensland Cowboys at Leichhardt.

Kickoff for the match is at 7:50pm AEST as Wests Tigers look to bounce back from three straight defeats when they take to the field at Leichhardt Oval for the first time in season 2018.

Having missed the last month with a knee injury, co-captain Russell Packer is the big inclusion for Wests Tigers this week as he returns to the front row alongside Kiwi international Ben Matulino.

Elijah Taylor also starts at hooker, with young gun Jacob Liddle returning from injury on the bench.

He replaces Pita Godinet in the squad, while Matt Eisenhuth moves to lock in a swap with Elijah Taylor.

Co-captain Chris Lawrence has been named in the back row and is confident of taking on the Cowboys. He will be monitored throughout the week as the club undergoes the appropriate concussion protocols.

Alex Twal, Michael Chee Kam and Sauaso Sue round out the interchange bench alongside Liddle, with Tim Grant, Chris McQueen, Tyson Gamble and Malakai Watene-Zelezniak named in the reserves.

Tuimoala Lolohea, Josh Aloiai and Pita Godinet have all been named in the club's reserve-grade side.

For the Cowboys, Coach Paul Green has named an unchanged lineup from the one that defeated Penrith in Bathurst last weekend with prop forward Scott Bolton named despite an ongoing police investigation.

Bolton has returned to Townsville to be with his family while the rest of his teammates stay in Sydney for Thursday's game, so there may be a late inclusion there with Francis Molo the most likely as 18th man.

Promising young half Jake Clifford, Javid Bowen and Sam Hoare have also been named as reserves.
