Wests Tigers are pleased to announce that Matt Eisenhuth has signed a new playing contract with the club.

The new agreement will see Eisenhuth remain at Wests Tigers until at least the end of the 2020 NRL season.

The 25 year old has played 22 NRL games for Wests Tigers since making his debut last season. Eisenhuth said he was thrilled to be extending his stay at Wests Tigers.

"I'm really happy to be able to put pen to paper on this deal," said Eisenhuth.

"I wasn't looking to go anywhere else, Wests Tigers and Ivan Cleary have been really good to me and I wanted to stick around and repay the faith.

"The direction that this club is going in is really exciting, you can see from the start of the year the culture that we've created and the way we're playing our footy is exciting and I'm loving being a part of that."

Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary said he looked forward to working with Eisenhuth over the coming seasons.

"Since making his debut last year Matt has become a key member of our team," said Cleary.

"I look forward to continuing to work closely with him as he develops both on and off the field."

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe congratulated Eisenhuth on his new playing contract.

"Matt is an impressive young man and it's great that we'll have him as a part of our club for at least the coming two seasons," said Pascoe. "It's been great to see him grow during his time at the club and we're all keen to see him continue his development."
