NRL Team Update: Round 21

Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary has updated his 19-man squad to take on the Newcastle Knights for their Round 21 clash tomorrow at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Kickoff for the match is at 6:00pm AEST as Wests Tigers look to bounce back from a disappointing last start defeat to the Bulldogs and reduce the gap to the eighth-placed Warriors to just two points.

Cleary has confirmed one change to the side originally named during the week with Robbie Rochow dropping out of the squad. No replacement has yet been confirmed on the bench with Jacob Liddle and Chris McQueen both travelling to Newcastle today as part of the extended NRL squad.

McQueen was a late inclusion to the squad last week against the Bulldogs — playing 36 minutes in his side's 16-4 defeat — while Jacob Liddle could come in to contention after producing a Man of the Match performance in the club's Intrust Super Premiership win over Blacktown Workers last weekend.

Pita Godinet joins Rochow as the player to drop out of the extended 21-man squad, with his replacement on the bench to be confirmed by the club one hour prior to kickoff tomorrow (5:00pm, Friday).

For Newcastle, Coach Nathan Brown has also confirmed a key late change with Connor Watson ruled out. He is replaced in the halves by Jack Cogger with Luke Yates also dropping out of the squad.
