NRL Team Update: Round 24

Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary has updated his 19-man squad to take on the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles for their Round 24 clash tomorrow night.

Kickoff for the match is at 7:50pm AEST from Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

Needing to secure victory to keep their finals hopes alive, Cleary has confirmed an otherwise unchanged squad that will see Matt Eisenhuth start at lock in place of injured co-captain Elijah Taylor.

Taylor picked up a corked thigh in last week's loss to the Dragons and will miss this week's game — his omission seeing Chris Lawrence return to the run-on side after returning from injury himself last week.

Alex Twal and Josh Aloiai are the new faces on the bench this week, the latter of which is free to play after successfully downgrading a Dangerous Tackle charge at the NSWRL Judiciary during the week.

Aloiai has not played for the NRL side since taking part in the Round 19 win over the South Sydney Rabbitohs — only returning from a broken hand last week via the club's Intrust Super Premiership side.

Jacob Liddle has again been named in jersey 18 with Malakai Watene-Zelezniak also retained as a reserve.

For the Sea Eagles, Coach Trent Barrett has also confirmed no late changes of yet to his side, with Frank Winterstein and Matthew Wright remaining in the squad as reserves and Jack Gosiewski included.

Final team lists for both sides will be confirmed one hour prior to kickoff tomorrow (6:50pm, Thursday).
