Wests Tigers and the Men of League Foundation have teamed up to launch a special initiative to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
The two organisations have today launched the Acts of Kindness initiative, and are calling on the Rugby League family to nominate those involved in the game who may have fallen on tough times.
Nominations can now be made through the Wests Tigers website, with the Men of League Foundation keen to know how they can help, no matter how big or small.
Men of League Foundation CEO Stephen Lowndes said that the organisation was proud to be working with Wests Tigers to make a difference.
"The Men of League Foundation is enormously proud to be partnering with Wests Tigers to deliver the 'Acts of Kindness' initiative," he said. "The Foundation exists to support the men, women and children of the Rugby League community, those at the very heart of the game who make an authentic contribution to grassroots footy.
"We're really excited to be able to select a few Rugby League families and individuals and work with Wests Tigers to brighten their day with an act of kindness," said Lowndes. "And wherever we identify a genuine need for emotional, social or financial assistance the Men of League Foundation will be happy to provide on-going support."
Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe thanked the Men of League Foundation for their support of this initiative.
"The Men of League Foundation do some incredible work in our community and we're thrilled to be able to partner with them on this initiative," said Pascoe. "I encourage everyone in our Rugby League family to look around and see if there is anyone involved in the game, at any level, who may be in need of some assistance and nominate them.
"Please let us know how we can help and hopefully make a positive difference in their lives," he said. "A special thanks needs to go to the Men of League Foundation for their generous support of this initiative."
