Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe has issued the below statement.

I acknowledge that a rule was broken and regret that this occurred. These actions were never done with intent or deceit and were simply an error that has had an impact on Wests Tigers, its shareholders, Members, corporate partners and staff.
I believe and support the absolute need for integrity in the game of rugby league and I always will.
On a personal note, I have appreciated the understanding shown by NRL CEO Todd Greenberg throughout this process and the time he afforded to me in order to meet and discuss this. I would also like to acknowledge Lee Hagipantelis and his team at Brydens Lawyers. I could not recommend or thank them enough with the work they have done throughout this process in representing my interests.
During times of adversity, people, organisations and communities can either stick together and become stronger, or they can capitulate. Throughout this process, it has been abundantly clear that the Wests Tigers community has stuck strong — from the board all the way through to the Members and fans. Their support and unity has been extremely humbling to see and receive.
I remain fiercely passionate about the Wests Tigers and am extremely proud of what we have been able to build as an organisation in the last three-and-a-half years. I am now appreciative of the fact that I have a chance to continue what we started and determined to ensure the club gets the success that the Members, fans and all involve richly deserve.
I now look forward with certainty to getting back to the job I was employed to do and add value to this club.
