NRL Team Update: Round 4

Wests Tigers Head Coach Michael Maguire has updated his 19-man squad to face the Penrith Panthers on Friday night.

Kickoff for the match is at 8:05pm AEDT from Panthers Stadium in Penrith with both sides looking to bounce back from disappointing defeats in Round 3.

After the squad's final training session today, Thomas Mikaele has been omitted from the side for Friday's game alongside Robbie Rochow as reserve. Paul Momirovski and Chris McQueen remain in the squad as reserves with no substitute for Mikaele named on the interchange bench as yet. Final 17-man team lists will be confirmed one hour prior to kickoff tomorrow night (7:05pm, Friday).

Luke Garner is confirmed to start the match after overcoming a shoulder knock last week while Josh Reynolds will play his first NRL game of the season in place of Benji Marshall (hamstring), having spent the past two weeks in Canterbury Cup.

Tim Grant and Jarome Luai were the two players omitted from Penrith's squad.
