It was a tough weekend for Wests Tigers in Round 6 with the NRL and Canterbury Cup sides both tasting defeat against the Parramatta Eels at Bankwest Stadium on Easter Monday.
Having defended superbly through the first five weeks of the competition, Wests Tigers were blown off the park by a red-hot Parramatta side in the main event on Monday, with the hosts running in nine tries to one in a stunning 51-6 victory.
Earlier on the day, Western Suburbs were unlucky not to make it back-to-back wins when they went down to the Wentworthville Magpies, with an array of handling errors and poor execution gifting the Magpies a tense 20-14 victory in the end.
There was some joy on the weekend, however, with the club's Jersey Flegg side continuing their good recent run of form with a 36-10 win over Parramatta.
After a slow start to the year, the club's young guns have now won their last three games in a row with a number of the 2019/2020 Development Players impressing.
The club's Tarsha Gale side have the week off ahead of their Qualifying Final while the Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership side are also on the bye.
