Wests Tigers have today announced its 2019 U/16's Lisa Fiaola Gala squad as the club continues to strengthen the women's pathways programs developed in recent years.
The following players have been selected as part of the program, which works as a a stepping stone to the club's successful U/18's Tarsha Gale side and then, long-term, to the senior Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership side.
The 2020 Tarsha Gale program will begin towards the end of this year.
The NSWRL Lisa Fiaola Challenge will be held as a Gala day on Saturday, July 13 with training sessions for the team taking place in the lead up to the day.
It is extremely pleasing to see a strong representation throughout the club's vast areas of Balmain, Western Suburbs and Group 6 in the team — showing the growing strength of the women's game across Wests Tigers geographical footprint.
