Wests Tigers Community Partner WestConnex are a proud supporter of the Quiet Room, a safe, fun and comfortable space for children with autism and their families to enjoy the football.
For the second year running, Wests Tigers continue to be the only NRL club that provide the unique viewing experience for children with autism — providing the opportunity at all home games at Bankwest Stadium and Campbelltown Sports Stadium in 2019.
The Quiet Room provides a controlled space for children on the autism spectrum, and their parents and carers, to be able to experience an NRL game, something they may not have been able to do otherwise.
The room provides a comfortable space for all including noise cancelling ear muffs, teepees, bean bags, colour in footballs and more.
WestConnex ongoing involvement and support assists Wests Tigers with continuing to run the program and allowing all-inclusive experience to families.
