Wests Tigers are proud to announce the donors that have helped in giving back to Alex Noble and his family.
Alex, a Balmain Junior, sustained an injury during a training session in October 2018 breaking his neck and damaging his spinal cord. It unknown whether Alex will ever walk again, however Alex’s mentality has remained positive and strong, continuing his war cry – I Fight, You Fight.
To aid with ongoing medical expenses and treatments, Wests Tigers have continued to work closely with Alex and his family. Due to the overwhelming support, Wests Tigers Foundation have been able to raise $10,000 to go towards Alex’s treatment.
To help raise the funds, Alex’s story was shared to the club’s loyal corporates, members and supporters at this year’s Grand Final Luncheon. With every contributor on the day who joined the Wests Tigers Foundation Heroes Club - a $2,018 tax deductible donation in return for a lifetime of recognition. Wests Tigers vowed to donate $1,000 back to the Noble Family with remaining contributions going towards community initiatives.
