Expression of Interest: Wests Tigers Women's Program Physiotherapist

Wests Tigers participate in the NSWRL Lisa Fiaola Cup (U/16's), Tarsha Gale Cup (U/18's) and Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership ladies competitions.

The club is one of only three NRL clubs to field teams in each of these competitions.

The women's program is into its fourth season and has been highly successful — producing consistent top four results as well as developing a number of representative players.

A position has become available for a suitably qualified physiotherapist to join the women's performance team for the 2020 season. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience diagnosing and treating injuries in the sporting environment and be able to work well and communicate with the players and fellow staff members.

The successful candidate will be part of the club's greater performance team, which will provide them with access to NRL and other pathway teams performance staff and knowledge base. As part of this they will participate in the club's professional development program.

The candidate will need to commit to attending training and game days, with training being conducted at the club's Concord and Liverpool bases, and games taking place across the greater Sydney region as well as regional areas such as Newcastle.

The volunteer role does have an honorarium attached to it as well a number of professional development opportunities.
