Wests Tigers are whole-heartedly committed to using the game of rugby league to enrich the lives of the community, and continue to partner alongside a number of organisations to make that a reality.
Wests Tigers are excited to join with Settlement Services International (SSI) as an official multicultural charity partner — a community organisation and social business supporting newcomers and other Australians to achieve their full potential.
Wests Tigers aim is to provide accessibility for new and existing participants to engage and participate in the game of rugby league.
Working alongside Settlement Services International, Wests Tigers strive to celebrate diversity and social cohesion. SSI works with vulnerable individuals such as refugees, people seeking asylum and culturally and linguistically diverse communities, helping them to build capacity and overcome inequality.
Settlement Services International Corporate Partnership Manager Belle Gallop said it was an excitement partnership for the organisation moving forward.
"SSI is proud to partner with Wests Tigers as their official multicultural charity partner," Gallop said. "SSI will work in partnership with Wests Tigers to celebrate diversity, promote inclusion and play a vital role in the social cohesion and community engagement process for SSI's clients."
