Brydens Lawyers partner Wests Tigers women’s pathways program

Wests Tigers are pleased to announce that the club’s Major Sponsor Brydens Lawyers will also feature as the official Wests Tigers women’s pathways program partner for 2020.

The new partnership will see Brydens Lawyers feature as the Major Sponsor for both the men’s and women’s programs at Wests Tigers in 2020 — highlighting its strong connection across the club and its support for elite player development.

As part of the partnership, the Brydens Lawyers branding will feature prominently on the jerseys and training apparel of Wests Tigers Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership side in 2020 as well as all associated digital coverage.

Brydens Lawyers will also proudly support the club’s involvement in the NRL’s annual Women in League Round and associated Wests Tigers events, as well as other initiatives and activities that form the overall Wests Tigers women’s pathways program.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe said he was extremely thankful for Brydens Lawyers and their ongoing support for Wests Tigers and its programs.

“As a club, we are extremely fortunate to have a proud major sponsor such as Brydens Lawyers who have been heavily involved with Wests Tigers for many years,” Pascoe said.

“Our strong relationship with them over the years has seen Brydens Lawyers become an integral part of the Wests Tigers fabric, and we are delighted that this partnership will now also extend to a key part of our club in our women’s pathways program.

“We are firmly committed to having a strong women’s pathways program that nurtures talent right through to the NRL level and this support will play a key role in achieving that.”

Brydens Lawyers Principal Lee Hagipantelis said the partnership was an important one for both organisations.

"As Principal of Brydens Lawyers and Chair of Wests Tigers I am as excited today in announcing the sponsorship of the Women’s Programs at Wests Tigers as I was when Brydens Lawyers commenced as major sponsor of the men's teams," Hagipantelis said.

"Brydens Lawyers has long been a proud supporter of women's sport by circumstance and design. As the father of three girls who have been active participants in sports for their entire lives, I am cognisant of the challenges faced by women’s sport particularly in relation to the securing of corporate support.

"In all respects women's sport stands proudly on its own and, from a sponsor's perspective, presents as a highly valued commodity in its own right.

"From a commercial perspective the sponsorship of the women's program has further cemented the wonderful relationship that Brydens Lawyers enjoys with Wests Tigers," he said. "From a personal perspective, it is heartwarming to be able to play some small part in the promotion and development of women's sport generally and women's rugby league in particular."

Wests Tigers Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership side will play their first game of the season this Saturday when they take on the North Sydney Bears.
