Wests Tigers players will be wear specially painted boots in tonight's game against the Warriors in conjunction with the Boots For Brighter Future campaign with Cultural Choice Association.
Cultural Choice Association are the driving force behind the Boots For Brighter Future campaign. Their focus is on prevention of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Youth Suicide — using education, coaching, tutoring and mentorship in prevention of cultural disengagement.
Wests Tigers have joined several clubs who will wear the specifically painted Indigenous boots to celebrate this week's Indigenous Round.
The boots that have been designed by young indigenous artists across New South Wales and will be auctioned off from 5:00pm AEST on Friday, July 31.
The money will go towards raising awareness and support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Youth Suicide.
