Wests Tigers will be looking to build on last week’s impressive win against Penrith when they face Parramatta at Bankwest Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Michael Maguire’s men will be on the hunt for three-straight wins for the first time since 2018 when they meet the Eels on the second occasion this campaign.

The Eels took home the chocolates on Easter Monday with a 36-22 win at Stadium Australia, however Wests Tigers will be eager for an improved performance this time around.

Following Parramatta’s convincing win over Newcastle in Round 13, Brad Arthur’s men sit third on the ladder with 10 wins and three losses, but two of their defeats have come in the past three weeks.

As Wests Tigers aim for three wins in a row, Maguire has named a relatively unchanged side from the one that defeated Penrith last weekend with Maroons representative Joe Ofahengaue named to return at lock.

His inclusion sees young forward Alex Seyfarth shift back to the bench in place of Thomas Mikaele, who has been ruled out with a knee injury.

Billy Walters will also earn his first start of the year after he was called in to replace Moses Mbye, who failed to overcome a knee injury sustained last week.

Haze Dunster retains his place on the wing with Blake Ferguson recalled to the reserves.

Wests Tigers: Alex Seyfarth takes his place on the bench with Joe Ofahengaue named to back up from his Origin commitments. Billy Walters starts at five-eighth with Moses Mbye (knee) a late withdrawal from the side.
