Event changes for Round 16 due to COVID-19

Wests Tigers have announced event changes to the club’s Round 16 fixture at Leichhardt Oval due to the ongoing situation surrounding COVID-19.

To adhere with the NSW Government restrictions announced this week, the Round 16 fixture will be played without a capacity crowd — with Wests Tigers to provide further information next week.

Due to current changes to venue capacities, the club will be providing a full refund to all current ticket purchasers for the fixture against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Leichhardt Oval.

Wests Tigers Members with Leichhardt Oval Access will be provided with further information.

The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg fixtures against the Rabbitohs — which were scheduled to be played as curtain-raisers to the NRL clash — will be rescheduled and further information will be provided in the coming days.

Wests Tigers intend for the fixture to remain at Leichhardt Oval; however, the situation will continue to be monitored with advice from the NRL’s biosecurity and health experts.

Wests Tigers understand that these changes to the schedule may impact Members and fans, however, hope the community will understand that the public health and safety surrounding COVID-19 must always take priority.

If you have any further questions, please contact Wests Tigers Membership via membership@weststigers.com.au.
