Judiciary Report: Round 19

Manly Warringah forward Josh Aloiai is set to sidelined after being charged for a cannonball tackle on Wests Tigers prop Alex Seyfarth in Saturday’s clash at Suncorp Stadium.

Aloiai has been slapped with a Grade 2 Dangerous Contact charge and will miss one week with the early guilty plea or faces a two-game suspension if he challenges the offence.

The tackle resulted in a Seyfarth leaving the field with an MCL injury, and although the full extent of the injury will be determined after he undergoes scans, he’s likely for a stint on the sidelines.

No Wests Tigers player was charged following the Round 19 match against the Sea Eagles.

Warriors prop Matt Lodge is set to miss next Friday’s game against Wests Tigers after he was charged with a Contrary Conduct offence in his side’s loss to South Sydney.

Bulldogs enforcer Luke Thompson is expected to miss his side's Round 21 match against Wests Tigers after he copped a Grade 2 Dangerous Contact charge, which will see him miss two weeks with an early guilty plea.

Rabbitohs lock Cameron Murray is likely to miss one week for a crusher tackle, Titans centre Patrick Herbert will be out for two weeks for a hhigh tackle, while Brisbane forward Thomas Flegler is facing a 2-3 week suspension for a Grade 3 Careless High Tackle.

Meanwhile, Broncos winger Jamayne Isaako and Melbourne fullback Nicho Hynes have been hit with monetary fines for minor offences.
