Wests Tigers Coach Michael Maguire has made several changes to this week’s team to take on the Penrith Panthers at Moreton Daily Stadium in Redcliffe.

Wests Tigers will head into the fixture without five-eighth Adam Doueihi (knee) and forward James Tamou (foot) due to injury, but will welcome back Jacob Liddle and Thomas Mikaele from suspension.

Mikaele, who re-signed with the club for a further season on Tuesday, starts in the front row in place of Tamou, while Liddle returns at hooker with Jake Simpkin dropping back to the bench.

Young half Jock Madden, who made his first-grade debut at Magic Round earlier this year, will partner captain Luke Brooks in the halves while Alex Seyfarth, who also recently re-signed with the club, returns from injury to take the place of Kelma Tuilagi on the bench.

James Roberts, Billy Walters, Tuki Simpkins and Zac Cini round out the 21-man team, which will be reduced to 19 players at 4:05pm on Saturday.

For the Panthers, Coach Ivan Cleary will welcome back James Fisher-Harris (quarantine) and Brian To'o (injury) with Matt Eisenhuth and Brent Naden dropping out of the squad. Dylan Edwards has been named despite picking up a head knock last week, while Tyrone May (injury) could come into the squad after being named in the reserves alongside brother Taylan.
