Wests Tigers has released winger Ken Maumalo from the final year of his contract, paving the way for his move to Gold Coast Titans.

The former New Zealand international joined Wests Tigers ahead of the 2021 NRL season after seven seasons with New Zealand Warriors.

Maumalo has agreed to an extended contract with the Titans and will relocate to the Gold Coast in the coming days.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe has thanked Maumalo for his efforts over the past couple of seasons.

“All of us at Wests Tigers wish Ken and his family the best with the next chapter in his career,” Pascoe said.

“This move is an opportunity that works for us as a club and for Ken and his family.

We wish Ken all the best with his future and thank him for giving his best effort over the past two seasons.
