Easter Monday history: Wests Tigers vs Eels

Wests Tigers and Parramatta Eels first played on Easter Monday at the Olympic stadium (then ANZ Stadium) in 2014, when a crowd of 50,668 watched Wests Tigers claw to a 21-18 victory.

The Eels won 36-22 when the fixture was last played at Homebush in 2021, with just short of 30,000 in attendance.

It was a sell-out at CommBank Stadium last year when Wests Tigers claimed a one-point win in the final minute of the game.

See you at The Showstopper.
