Injury Update: April 18

Head of High Performance Peter Moussa provides an injury update heading into Wests Tigers ANZAC Round match against Manly this Sunday.

Scans and further specialist consultation have confirmed that Adam Doueihi has suffered an ACL tear, meaning he will miss the rest of the 2023 season.

This is Doueihi’s third ACL tear in his left knee and he will require revision ACL surgery. His return to play is estimated at 12-16 months.

The Wests Tigers five-eighth sustained the injury late in the second half of his team’s Easter Monday loss to Parramatta Eels.

Brent Naden was also injured against the Eels and will miss between 2-4 weeks after suffering a grade 3 AC joint injury.

Tommy Talau is ready to make his return to playing after suffering a broken nose against the Knights and is available for selection this weekend.

David Nofoaluma has recovered from a foot ligament injury and fracture and is available for selection this week.

Brandon Tumeth is in the frame to return this weekend after recovering from a hamstring strain.

Also available for selection this week is forward Christian Ma'anaima.  He’s recovered from bone bruising to his knee.

Hooker Rua Ngatikaura is also sidelined with bone bruising to his knee injury and should be available for selection in Round 9.

In other injury news, scans have confirmed NSW Cup winger Jordan Hill will miss the rest of the season after suffering an ACL injury against the Eels on Easter Monday.
