Match Preview: NRL Round 24 vs Warriors

Wests Tigers will travel across the Tasman this weekend to face the New Zealand Warriors in front of over 24,000 fans in Hamilton.

The sold out crowd will experience the first NRL match at FMG Stadium Waikato in six years, with the joint-venture taking a home game to New Zealand in recognition of the sacrifices made by the Warriors during the pandemic.

Wests Tigers will welcome back Stefano Utoikamanu and Shawn Blore for the clash as the pair return from concussions suffered in Round 22.

Charlie Staines will miss the fixture with a hamstring injury, with Junior Tupou shifting back to the wing and Asu Kepaoa filling the vacant centre role.

Former Wests Tigers interim coach Andrew Webster has only made one change to his squad that defeated the Titans last weekend, with Taine Tuaupiki replacing Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad after the fullback sustained a Category 1 concussion.
