Keith Barnes funeral details

Tigers’ legend Keith Barnes will be laid to rest on Tuesday 23rd April at Macquarie Park.

Those wishing to pay their respects are invited to attend the funeral service and the reception which will be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Wests Tigers will hold a moment’s silence before kick-off of Sunday’s Round 6 match against St George Illawarra Dragons at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

When: 11:00am Tuesday 23rd April

Where: Macquarie Park Cemetery & Crematorium

Wake:

When: 1:00pm-5:00pm Tuesday 23rd April

Where: Sydney Cricket Ground Members Pavilion

Keith Barnes was a wonderfully talented fullback who played 194 Premiership matches for Balmain Tigers between 1955 and 1968.

He was inducted into the NRL Hall of Fame, he was a former Kangaroos Captain, and he booted 742 goals over 14 seasons with the Tigers, earning the nickname Golden Boots.

Keith was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a dear friend to so many.

A true gentleman, a Tigers' legend.
