Match Report: Jersey Flegg Cup vs Dragons

Wests Tigers have staged an amazing comeback to defeat St George Illawarra Dragons 31-22 in Round 6 of the Jersey Flegg Cup.

Down 22-4 at half time, suffice to say it was looking grim for the home team at Lidcombe Oval.

That was until hooker Kobe Wilson and centre Maxwell Toatua scored tries in the first five minutes of the second half to put the Tigers right back in the hunt.

All the momentum was with the home side in the second half, scoring four tries in a 15 minute spell - including a second for Toatua - to suddenly have them ahead by two.

Prop Herman Tofaeono crossed with about ten minutes remaining to score the Tigers fifth unanswered try before a late Naati Teaupa field goal put a full stop on what certainly was a game of two halves.
