The Western Suburbs Magpies will make the trip to AAMI Park for the first time in their history as they clash with the Melbourne Storm on Saturday morning for Round 10 of the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup.
The Magpies will be looking to build momentum following a dominant display in securing the Tommy Raudonikis Cup at Henson Park, as they prepare to take on the Storm for the first time since 2010, due to the Club recently re-entering the NSW Cup.
Last week’s contest saw them bring a narrow advantage into the sheds at half time, courtesy of a piece of Javon Andrews brilliance, before a commanding second stanza saw them cross for four unanswered tries enroute to a 28-4 victory.
Head Coach, Tyrone McCarthy has named a very different starting line up to last week due to player movement between grades.
The backline sees the addition of Tino Tavana, Starford To’a and Iverson Matai, with Vaka Aho, Lachlan Broederlow and Tony Sukkar joining the starting forward pack.
