The Wests Tigers are excited to confirm VICTA’s support of the Club’s NRLW squad as they prepare to mow down their competition over the next three years.
The iconic Australian lawnmower company will feature proudly on the team's upper back, supporting women’s rugby league as it continues to flourish at Concord.
VICTA’s commitment to the NRLW provides important investment into the program, helping support high-performance standards, player development and the continued growth of women’s rugby league at the Club.
The partnership comes at an exciting time following a strong off-season of recruitment, including a new Head Coach in Craig Sandercock and several fresh faces joining the squad.
It’s the expansion of a long-standing connection between VICTA and the Wests Tigers, with the Australian-owned brand having supported the Club’s Pathways over several years; including involvement with Jersey Flegg, NSW Cup and junior representative squads across the Western Suburb Magpies Harold Matthews and SG Ball programs.
Fans will also associate VICTA’s iconic branding with the inaugural jersey sponsor of the Western Suburbs Magpies – a partnership that began in 1978.
Wests Tigers Head of Corporate Partnerships, Matthew Hutch welcomed VICTA’s involvement with the NRLW.
“It’s great to have such an iconic Australian brand expanding their investment into rugby league through our women’s program. VICTA has been a great supporter of our Club’s Pathways for many years, and we’re excited to continue our work with them,” Hutch said.
“VICTA are synonymous with our lawns and with rugby league, and we’re looking forward to seeing this partnership grow from strength to strength.”
VICTA Marketing Manager, Josh Stephenson said he was excited about the brand’s partnership with the NRLW side.
“VICTA has been part of Australian backyards for generations, and rugby league has always been close to home for us,” Stephenson said.
Partnering with the Wests Tigers NRLW team is a natural fit – backing a group of players who show up, put in the work, and represent their community with pride
