Squad Update: NRL Round 17 v Knights
The Wests Tigers have trimmed their squad to 20 ahead of their clash with the Knights in Round 17 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.
Kicking off at 4.05pm on Sunday, the Tigers will be aiming to bounce back into the winner’s circle after last week’s loss to the Dolphins at Campbelltown.
Round 17 is also Beanies for Brain Cancer Round – which celebrates its 10th anniversary – raising funds and awareness for the Mark Hughes Foundation.
Alex Twal has not been able to prove his fitness in time for Sunday's clash, replaced by Alex Seyfarth at lock.
Speaking to media on Friday, Benji Marshall told media that Twal would be fit for his side's Round 18 fixture with the Dragons.
“He will be fine next week. We’d be putting him out there just hoping he gets through where next week, he'll be able to perform."
