The Wests Tigers are pleased to confirm the signing of exciting outside back, Junior Tupou.
Tupou – who can play at wing or centre – has signed a train-and-trial deal for the remainder of this season, before joining the Wests Tigers Top 30 squad for 2027.
The deal sees the 23-year-old return home to the Wests Tigers after playing 34 NRL games for the Club from 2022-2024.
Tupou made his NRL debut for the Wests Tigers against the North Queensland Cowboys in Round 10, 2022.
Tupou spent time at the Dolphins in 2025 before going on to join the Sydney Roosters to begin the 2026 season.
Tupou said he was thrilled to be returning 'home' to the Wests Tigers.
I'm so happy to be back at this Club. They gave me my first opportunity in the NRL, and it’s a place that means a lot to me and my family

"The Club is on the rise, and I want to be a part of where this group is headed.
“I'm excited to work under Benji and his staff and I can't wait to get stuck into it with the boys."
Wests Tigers Head Coach, Benji Marshall said Tupou provides added depth to the backline.
“It’s awesome to have Junior back. We know what he brings to the team in size and strength. He is also good in the air,’’ Marshall said.
“Junior is a good young man. He is someone, who if you put a bit of belief into him, could take his game to the next level.”
