Tigers remain unbeaten with Townsville win

The Wests Tigers defeated the North Queensland Cowboys 30-18 in Townsville to make it two wins from two, to start the season.

It was a skilful effort from the Kezie Apps-led side across the park.

The first half saw Faythe Manera score her first-ever career double, with Sarah Togatuki going over at the stroke of half-time to give the Tigers an 18-4 lead going into the sheds.

In the second half, Manera turned that double into a hat-trick, with Shaylee Bent also adding to the Tigers try tally.

Celebrating her 50th NRLW game, halfback Raecene McGregor was perfect from the tee, setting a Club record by converting all five of the Tigers tries.
